Education, Licenses, Certifications

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Industrial Engineering, Business Management or related.

Experience

2 years or experience on purchasing.

Knowledge

· Management of Purchasing Management Systems (Ariba)

· Advanced handling of Microsoft Office.

· Knowledge in the Purchase to Bill process.

Responsibilities

  • Interaction with projects in the area to save expenses and cost reductions.

  • Interaction with different projects, conducting research and contact with suppliers.

  • Development of bidding processes with suppliers (review of quotes, update of documentation and support in signing contracts).

  • Direct contact with suppliers to update information and close contracts or negotiations.

  • Ensuring the bidding process efficiently based on Cummins standards.

  • Collect information and update catalogs of suppliers in the system.

  • Approval of purchase orders sent by users.

  • Resolution of problems and doubts of suppliers and users.
