Education, Licenses, Certifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical, Industrial, Automotive engineering or related.
6 years in the specific function or similar.
Advanced statistical Knowledge (MSA, DOE, Capability studies, etc.).
Advanced Knowledge core tools (PFMEA, PCP, APQP).
Welding knowledge of MIG & TIG is a plus
Be able to use a design software (Solidworks, solidedge, Inventor, etc.) to design fixtures.
Experience in Introduction of New Product and Process.
Basic Knowledge for programming (C, visual Basic, Java, etc.) is a plus.
Experience in Process of assembly in automotive industry is a plus.
Experience working Lean Manufacturing tools is a plus.
Experience working with IATF documentation is a plus.
Availability to work 2ndshift if necessary.
Analyze the product’s functional and design requirements.
Make Project Presentations to mangers and team members.
Equipment, Capital Procurement - Selects manufacturing equipment which meets the manufacturing specifications and meets the project or program needs.
Understands ergonomic concepts, standards, guidelines, controls and tools to reduce ergonomic risk to employees while at work.
Maintain a strong relationship with worldwide manufacturing engineering sites and other companies that manufacture the similar products.
Provide technical support to the departments of Production, Quality, and Maintenance.
Identify continuous improvement opportunities based on KPIs results.
Carry out all work activities following Quality Management System procedures.
Participates in SWOT analysis for department processes.
Participates in risk analysis for department processes.
Leads the planning, designing, purchasing, and implementation of changes to the manufacturing equipment and systems while leading and co-leading teams.
Leads the work for specific projects to create and implement all aspects of a manufacturing processes to ensure safety requirements, manufacturing goals, business goals, and product specifications are met.
Leads by applying the knowledge or use of manufacturing principles and practices to improve manufacturing equipment and processes.
