We are looking for a talented COST ANALYST to join our specialized FINANCE team for our CUMMINS company in Ciudad Juarez, Chihuahua.
In this role, you will have an impact in the following ways:
Cost and Inventory activities, including consignment inventory at external facilities.
Processing accounting policies related to inventory and costs.
Ensures the preparation and publication of inventory related system reports.
Creates and maintains new part number costing.
Supports the calculation of standard rates and updates the system; as well as supports the inventory valuation process.
Supports with the preparation of inventory and cost related reconciliations, identifies old items and supports resolution tracking.
Supports the processes of cycle counts and annual physical inventory.
Reports material cost variances (IPV/PPV/MUV/CUV), assists in determining root cause variances.
Participates in projects related to inventory and cost improvements.
To be successful in this position, you will need the following:
Experience in Accounting Systems
3 years of experience in Manufacturing Industry (Automotive preferred).
Experience in Cost and Inventory Accounting
General Accounting Experience
Intermediate English
Intermediate Excel
Analytical Skills
Knowledge of Minimum Controls Act.
